Outstanding BOSS Vocal Effects
The VE-22 is packed with the latest advancements in BOSS’s acclaimed Vocal Performer technology. Bolster your voice with core processing and make the sound come alive with immersive delays and reverbs. Then explore a universe of electronic colors and aggressive textures with auto pitch, distortion, lo-fi, modulation, and other cool voice transforming effects. There are 50 presets with ready-to-go sounds, plus 99 memories to store custom combinations for different songs and styles.
Harmonies That Impress
The VE-22’s powerful harmony and doubling functions make it simple to create head-turning ensemble effects from a single voice. Just select a type, set the song key, and start singing. It’s easy to change up the harmony voicing, adjust levels, and more with the panel knobs. You can also assign the harmonies to an onboard switch and bring them in and out as needed while performing.
Create in the Moment
The VE-22’s uncomplicated interface encourages you to get creative with your live vocal sound. The Harmony, Effect, and Echo sections feature multi-function knobs, letting you tweak top-level parameters, turn off a section with a click, or dive into deeper settings with a double click. And with the color display and lighted rings around the knobs, you always have a clear view of what’s happening. Three customizable switches are designed for control with your feet or hands, and you can connect an expression pedal or external footswitches for more control if needed.
Perform with Confidence
The VE-22 gives you everything you need to deliver top-quality sound to a house PA system, stage amplifier, or recorder. There’s an XLR input and integrated preamp for a professional stage microphone, plus phantom power for high-end condenser types. A high/low gain switch, rear-panel sensitivity knob, and level meter enable you to optimize the input signal for nearly any mic. Compressor, EQ, de-esser, and other studio essentials are also on hand, ready to support every performance with smooth, authoritative sound.
Express Yourself
With USB-C, an analog aux input, and a headphone jack, the VE-22 supports vocal activities from daily practice and recording to livestreaming on social media. Connect to a computer or mobile device and send mix-ready vocals directly to song production software and streaming apps. Or play backing music through the VE-22 and sing along with inspiring sound as you warm up for gigs, learn new songs, and perform.
