THE MIGHTY SOUND OF BIRCH!
These drums absolutely have the right name! The British Drum Co. Legend Series speaks with awesome power and projection in any musical situation. The secret lies in the construction of our drums. Legend Series drums are handcrafted using our unique cold-press moulding with 100% Scandinavian Birch, cross laminated into a 6mm thick shell. Legend’s super-strong shells are precision-cut with 45 degree bearing edges.
The results are astounding - naturally lower fundamental tones with immediate attack and deep, controlled sustain.The versatility of Legend Series is equally impressive. High tuning reveals a crisp delicacy that responds easily to subtle playing, whilst lower tunings bring out the deep punchiness of the bass drum and toms possess an unparalleled low-end growl. These drums sound rich and resonant. However you play - whether on stage or in the studio, Legend Series inspires you to play with real passion.
This particular kit is a one off collaboration between British Drum Co and Mooloolaba Music. We wanted a unique finish that reflected the both the White Sand and the Bright Sunshine that the Sunshine Coast is so well known for. With that in mind we introduce the completely custom "SUNNY COAST" finish. We love it! This is the only kit in the world in this finish and it is available now at Mooloolaba Music.

Elegantly stylish and furnished in Palladium hardware, our 16” deep Legend Series bass drums feature finish-matched hoops for a contemporary look and feel.
All British Drum Co. drums proudly display our branded, laser-cut B badge revealing the shell finish in the negative space of the badge design.
Easily identifiable, Legend Series is distinguished by the small, single Art-Deco inspired Palladium lug on both toms and bass drums.
Rock-solid stability is assured by the Palladium tom brackets on both rack and floor toms. The stylish brackets are fixed to the shells by a bespoke engineered isolation system which ensures greater resonance from the drum whilst maintaining dependable positioning.
The Art-Deco aesthetic of the Palladium bass drum claw is subtly enhanced by a black thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) gasket which gives added protection to the surface of the Legend Series bass drum hoops.
Legend Series vent badges are laser engraved with the Made In Britain inscription - we are very proud to be able to say our drums are made by hand in the UK.
High quality bass drum spurs sit tight to our bass drums to ensure rock-solid stabitiy and zero bass drum creep on all surfaces.
Legend Series drums are available in SX, and UX finish options.
